Of sleepless nights n such!
It's 0205hrs on the 24th of July 2006 AD! and i cant sleep! i have been in the bed for the past 2+ hrs, but i have not been able to sleep! i got up an hour back, caught some parts of kuch kuch hota hai (on sony) and ramayan (on zee, new version) and then went to bed again - but still no sleep! it's not a case of excess sleep over the weekend. i just slept my fair share of 7 hrs a day!
all kinds of thoughts crossing my mind -
home related (family in india)
job related (boss and other work issues)
and other ponderings of happenings around me!
a lot of aggressive thoughts also:
what if i have a fight with my boss (verbal - work related)
what if a have a fight with some one (physical - somebody punches me, how will i react - dont ask why this). i have never been in a fight, never been punched, never punched somebody. probably it's all stocked up!
confusing thougts, random thoughts, violent thoughts, thoughts thoughts n more thoughts, but no God damn sleep!
only possible solution, sleep while watching something!
and the old-time solution, dig out some uni-time lec notes, start reading - i'll probably be off to dreamland just by reading the name of the subject on the lec notes!
i shall go and try something. sleep by hook or by crook! anyways, tomorrow at work - will need a more than regular supply of coffee to get through the day, considering i can only get 5 hrs of sleep - if i fall asleep within the next 5 min!

yup preet! i guess, if sometimes you are not very sleepy, the mind wanders all over the place!
You watched Ramayan on Zee and STILL couldn't sleep??? :D :D :D
was switching between KKHH and Ramayan. they were showing Sita's birth! janak ploughing the land.
also Ram and Bharat dividing the responsibility of Laxman and Shatrughan! big bro is like dad and all that kind of talk between 7-8 yr old kids! sleep invoking stuff - but no sleep!
